Eesa was having great difficulties with focus and concentration in a mainstream environment. Sr Samina went out of her way to find methods to aid him in the classroom and went to great lengths to involve me as a parent. She looked at how he could use the same techniques in the classroom and at home for consistency. Mashallah the techniques adopted including learning through play, visual aids and an awareness of his sensory needs meant that Eesa was able to access the same curriculums his peers and Alhamdulillah has now thrived. In particular, Sr Samina’s awareness of the need to vary the environment and the methods of teaching for a child with SEN was invaluable. I enjoyed using the resources in Arabic Studies as they always simplified complex topics into more bitesize understandable points. I would highly recommend these fun educational games. My daughter loves playing with these games. It is a fun and colourful way to teach her the Arabic Alphabet. Aunty Samina is an enthusiastic teacher and never failed to make everyone feel happy and excited to learn; this made learning even better than it was. A lot of effort had been put into our lessons and Aunty Samina would have a challenge. This was where the class would try to achieve first on the leaderboard of memrise, while learning Arabic. The student who won would receive a prize. When learning in class, Aunty Samina used a range of different resources and she always used effective teaching methods. These educational learning games created by Samina enabled young children to learn through play. Each game would last no longer than 15 mins, which was perfect to keep children engrossed in the activity without getting bored. These activities were created such that they were tailored to each level of learning, which is key to ensure each child is able to learn at their own pace. Any teacher can open up a book and get children to read from it, but these activities are creative, engaging and children really look forward to playing them! Excellent Arabic resources, easy to use for children of all ages and lots of fun- especially when played in teams or under timed conditions!
